Shaina and Chris celebrated the most beautiful day at the Sutherland this past Friday – and every part of their day was so filled with joy that even the rain that had been looming all week in the forecast stayed away!

Shaina and Chris chose not to see each other before the ceremony (which meant more getting ready time with the girls/guy) but instead read handwritten letters from each other in private which was one of the sweetest moments of their morning.

Once all dresses were buttoned and all ties were tied, the bagpiper started playing filling the Sutherland’s courtyard with a little bit of Scottish flair, it was time for the beautiful ceremony – which ended with the best surprise end when guests shot confetti guns and Shaina and Chris disappeared for a few seconds in a sea of color. The official start to the party that was to follow!

And what a heck of a party it was! I’ll leave it to Shaina and Chris if they want to share those pics with you one day 😉 Shaina and Chris, I cannot thank you enough for letting me spend this day by your side. I hope your life together will be full of smiles, laughter and happiness – and of course the occasional confetti shower!
